Triton Digital Powers SXSWfm, Official Streaming Radio Channel for South by Southwest
Online Music and News Station for the Popular Conference and Festival using Full Suite of Triton Products
LOS ANGELES — March 3, 2014 — Triton Digital, a leading technology provider for the audio industry, today announced that it is powering SXSWfm, the official streaming radio channel for South by Southwest, for the second year. The station will use Triton’s suite of streaming audio products including Live Streaming for high-quality delivery and the MRC-accredited Webcast Metrics audience measurement solution.
SXSWfm focuses on new music discovery, streaming tracks from the more than 2,000 bands that will perform in Austin at SXSW. This year, the programming includes artists performing at the iTunes Festival, which will launch for the first time in the United States at SXSW. Additional content includes features and interviews with musicians, filmmakers, comedians and presenters connected to the conference. The station also airs post-conference programming throughout the year, including music, news and stories from SXSW participants and highlights from past years.
