NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 18, 2021 – Triton Digital®, the global technology and services provider to the digital audio and podcast industry, announced today the release of the latest U.S. Podcast Report for the October 2021 reporting period (October 4 – October 31, 2021), as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.
The Top Network Reports are ranked by Average Weekly Downloads and Average Weekly Users, in accordance with v2.1 of the IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.
In this reporting period, we welcomed a new podcast network, ViacomCBS, which ranked in as #9 for Average Weekly Downloads and #10 for Average Weekly Users amongst the Top 20 Networks.
Stitcher Media remained in the #1 spot on the Top Networks Report with 39.5M Average Weekly Downloads and 10.7M Average Weekly Users, followed by NPR with 32.3M Average Weekly Downloads and 7.2M Average Weekly Users, and Audacy with 31.8M Average Weekly Downloads and 10.2M Average Weekly Users.
New shows debuting this period include The Daily Show With Trevor Noah: Ears Edition (ViacomCBS), Over My Dead Body (Wondery), Fantasy Football Today (Viacom CBS), The Way I Heard It with Mike Rowe (Audioboom), and more.
