Apple Podcasts launches Delegated Delivery

Today Apple Podcasts launched Delegated Delivery (beta), allowing creators to publish Apple Podcasts Subscriptions directly from their participating hosting provider dashboard, making it easier than ever to launch and grow shows and subscriptions on Apple Podcasts.

With an active membership to the Apple Podcasters Program, creators can now generate API Keys from the Account tab of Apple Podcasts Connect, which they can share with their hosting provider to allow them to publish content on their behalf. Once enabled, creators can submit new free and subscriber shows, publish new subscriber episodes, and continue to publish free episodes to Apple Podcasts from their hosting provider dashboard.

The following hosting providers support Apple Podcasts Subscriptions beginning today:

• Blubrry
• Libsyn
• Triton Digital’s Omny Studio
• RSS.com

Acast, ART19, Buzzsprout, and more hosting providers will support Apple Podcasts Subscriptions later this year. The Hosting Providers page designates which providers offer Subscription Support and will be regularly updated as additional providers support Apple Podcasts Subscriptions and other features.
